TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

The Jacksonville Marine Charities Redfish Roundup Spots Tournament is a long-time tradition in the North Florida Area. The inaugural tournament was in 2001 by the Florida Times Union and has been a spring event at Jim King Park and Boat Ramp. The proceeds went to Safe Harbor Boys home. After several years the TU dropped the tournament and Safe Harbor continued the tradition. After several year volunteering with Safe Harbor the tournament was passed on to Jacksonville Marine Charities. JMC continues to count the spots and support Safe Harbor Boy's Home.

All anglers must comply with Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission rules and be within the Florida FWC slot of 18”-27” in a natural lay position with tail pinched. All-natural black spots 11/64” or greater are counted and a clear and distinct line must be visible between spots.
