Prizes:  Prizes are limited to ONE PER BOAT with the exception of tagged Kingfish prizes and Treasure Chest which supplement the regular Tournament or Tournament within a Tournament.  All prizes will be awarded to the registered Captain. In the event of a tie in weight, the winner shall be determined by the earliest check-in time as determined by the check-in boat.  If you place more than one category, you will automatically be sorted to the position of greatest value. There will be sixty (60) General Tournament prizes.  There will be sixty (60) General Tournament prizes  - twenty (20) prize places for the Largest Kingfish, twenty (20) prize places for the Largest Two-Day Aggregate [one Kingfish per day], ten (10) prize places for the Class of 23 Two-Day Aggregate [one kingfish per day], and ten (5) Treasure Chest prizes. Prizes awarded in the 1st place Largest and Aggregate categoriesare 100% merchandise.  Prizes awarded in the 2rd through 10th place Largest and Aggregate categories are a cash+merchandise . Remaining prizes awarded by the Tournament in each category are 100% cash.  Total value of prizes may exceed published values.  Merchandise value is the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).  The Tournament makes no representation as to the actual value of any merchandise included as part of a prize. 

Anyone catching a Kingfish weighed in that is tagged with a 2009 AT&T GJKT tag caught while fishing in the 2009 AT&T GJKT General Tournament will receive $1,000 cash. Any Junior Angler catching and weighing one of the Kingfish tagged with a 2009 AT&T GJKT tag while fishing in the Junior Angler Tournament, will win a $1,000.00 Scholarship.  Anyone who catches one of the Kingfish tagged with a 2009 AT&T GJKT tag beginning July 26, 2009 through July 17, 2010 and brings the tag to the Tournament Office prior to July 21, 2010, will be awarded an entry in the 2010 AT&T Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament.  Other prizes may be offered by sponsors and/or manufacturers as supplemental prizes awarded in addition to the Tournament prizes.  THE REVISED PRIZE STRUCTURE IS BASED ON 425 PAID ENTRIES.  In the event that the minimum number of paid entries is not achieved, the prize structure may be adjusted by the appropriate Tournament Committee to reflect the actual number of paid entries.

No substitutions or cash equivalents will be permitted except at the Tournament’s option for a prize of comparable or greater value.  Federal, state, and local taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the winners. The winner of any boat or vehicle is responsible for license, registration, title fees and insurance costs and must show evidence of insurance and a valid driver’s license when picking up the boat or vehicle. All prizes must be picked up within 30 days of notification of availability or prize will be forfeited. Cash prizes are valid for one (1) year from date of issue.  By participating, entrants agree to the Tournament’s Official Rules and the decisions of the Tournament, which shall be final in all respects.
